PFE Directors Marnie Rickards and Anubha Rawat from The DAK Foundation recently caught up with Surya Bhatta and the team at One Heart Worldwide in Nepal.
One Heart Worldwide is dedicated to saving lives and promoting the well-being of mothers and newborns in underserved areas of rural Nepal. During their visit, Marnie and Anubha had the opportunity to engage with the dedicated teams at the Dhading Health Post and Kathmandu Model Hospital.
Proudly, The DAK Foundation has played a crucial role in supporting One Heart Worldwide, through their rural obstetric ultrasound training program contributing over 130 ultrasound machines, which has enabled trained registered midwives to provide well over 500k scans during antenatal care.
Field visits like these are invaluable, serving as a cornerstone in nurturing strong, collaborative partnerships.
