Nacham means comfort in Hebrew. It was founded by Armand Ijimbere in 2017 to provide meals, comfort and support to vulnerable patients in Burundi. Nacham operates feeding programs in three public hospitals—two in Bujumbura and one in Kirundo, located three hours north of the city. They provide daily meals, medicines, and psychosocial support to 160-170 patients daily, prioritising children, mothers, people with disabilities, long-stay patients, and those without visitors. They also run ECD centres in hospitals for sick children and those accompanying their hospitalised relatives a mental health program and livelihood program for vulnerable patients post hospital admission.

Their mission is to promote the well-being of the most vulnerable patients in public hospitals and communities by strengthening their nutritional, psychological, and economic resilience.
